Blundell’s Achieves Exceptional ISI Inspection Outcome
ISI Inspection Report – December 2025 Blundell’s School is delighted to announce the outcome of its Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) inspection, which took place in December 2025.
The school was found to be fully compliant in all areas and, in a rare and exceptional achievement, was awarded two significant strengths.
A significant strength is defined by the ISI as an aspect of school life that goes well beyond expectations and has a notably positive impact on pupils. Nationally, only around one in ten schools is awarded even a single significant strength, making the recognition of two a particularly outstanding accolade.
The inspection report reflects the sustained commitment and hard work of pupils, staff, and governors over many years. It highlights a culture of educational excellence at Blundell’s, underpinned by high standards, strong leadership, and a shared dedication to the wellbeing and success of every pupil.
