Outstanding Success in National Mathematics Competitions
Blundell’s is proud to celebrate the exceptional achievements of our pupils in this year’s Mathematical Olympiad and Mathematical Challenge for Girls, demonstrating remarkable talent, commitment and academic excellence.
In the Olympiad, Anastasiia achieved an extraordinary 47/50, earning a Distinction, a Book Prize, and qualification for the British Mathematical Olympiad. We are especially delighted to announce her acceptance onto the prestigious Advanced Mentoring Scheme, an elite programme designed to prepare top mathematicians for the International Maths Olympiad a rare and outstanding honour.
Year 11 pupils Kathy and Amelia both earned Merits in the Olympiad, an impressive achievement at this level and a testament to their strong mathematical ability.
In the Mathematical Challenge for Girls, Year 10 pupils Hedy and Lucy each achieved Merits in a highly competitive national field, showcasing their emerging talent and potential.
As we mark 50 years of girls at Blundell’s, these pupils embody the ambition, determination and intellectual curiosity that define our community. We congratulate all of them on their remarkable success and look forward to seeing their continued achievements in mathematics and beyond.
