Blundell’s Prep School - Christmas Market
The Friends of Blundell’s Prep Christmas Market was a fantastic success, bringing together pupils, staff, families, and our wider community for a festive morning of fun all while raising almost £1,000 for Cancer Research UK.
The Preparatory School was transformed into a lively Christmas hub, offering something for everyone. A huge thank you goes to the children, staff, Friends of Blundell’s Prep Committee, parents, and the visiting stallholders who helped make the event such a memorable occasion.
Visitors enjoyed browsing a range of beautiful gifts and products from external stallholders, while our in-house stalls showcased the remarkable entrepreneurial talents of our pupils. There was a wonderful sense of creativity and innovation on display, particularly from our Year 6 pupils, who have been taking part in the Virgin Money Make £5 Grow scheme. Their impressive range of handmade items included narcissi planting kits, recipe jars, dog treats, sparkly pompom decorations, laser-cut Christmas cards, and friendship bracelets each crafted with care and enthusiasm.
No festive event would be complete without delicious refreshments, and our food and drinks stall did not disappoint. Alongside this, visitors enjoyed a variety of games, face-painting, and of course, a special appearance from Father Christmas, all of which contributed to a warm and joyful atmosphere throughout the morning.
The success of the Christmas Market is a true reflection of the strength of our school community. Thank you once again to everyone involved for your generosity, creativity, and support. Together, we have raised vital funds for a wonderful cause and created another cherished event in the Blundell’s Prep calendar.
